- One-to-one assistance with a carer
- Assisting with daily tasks for self- reliant living
- Support for self-care, accommodation and activities within a unit.
- Providing short-term residency
- Arrange residency for transitioning to live independently
Available Daily Task & Shared Living Services
We offer a wide range of services designed to help NDIS participants living independently or in shared accommodation:
- Communal living: Teaching how to live with others and ensuring household responsibilities are understood.
- Household activities: Helping with completing household tasks, such as preparing meals, cleaning and gardening.
- Managing finances: Assisting with budgeting and paying bills on time.
- Social skills: Developing social skills to create and maintain positive relationships.
- Moving out: Helping to move out if it’s your first time living away from your family.

Benefits of Having a Support Worker in Shared Living Accommodation
One of the key advantages is that it helps to create an environment where people can feel comfortable and supported while still maintaining their independence. A support worker can provide guidance and encouragement with tasks that may otherwise be challenging.
A support worker can also provide companionship and help participants learn more about the community around them. This helps to reduce feelings of isolation and build confidence in engaging with others.
Finally, a support worker can help NDIS participants to focus on their individual goals, as they have extra support to help them manage their daily tasks and access the resources they need.
How Can I Access This Type of Support?
To access daily task and shared living support through the NDIS, you will need to have an approved plan in place. Your plan should outline what type of support you require and how much funding you have been allocated. You can then use this funding to receive assistance from a registered provider.
At Point Care, we’re here to help NDIS participants access the support services they require to live fulfilling lives. We will work closely with you to develop an individualised service plan that outlines the goals and objectives you would like to achieve, as well as to review your progress.
